6. Social Features and Data Visibility
Real Golf Stats includes social features that allow you to connect with other users. Here is how your data is shared within the App:
6.1 Public Profiles
If your profile is set to public (the default), any authenticated user can:
- See your display name and username
- Follow you without approval
- View your aggregate stats, round history, and individual round details
6.2 Private Profiles
If your profile is set to private:
- Your username and display name are still searchable
- Users must send a follow request, which you can accept or decline
- Only approved followers can view your stats and round history
6.3 What Followers Can See
Followers (or anyone, for public profiles) can view:
- Your display name and username
- Your aggregate statistics (averages, WCSS, improvement trends)
- Your round history (date, course, score, stats)
6.4 Controlling Your Visibility
You can control your data visibility at any time by:
- Switching between public and private profile modes in Settings
- Removing individual followers
- Unfollowing other users
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
7.1 Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate our App:

Data Deletion: You may delete your data at any time through the App's settings. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or legitimate business purposes. Deleting your account also removes you from all follower/following relationships.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
